Taking the form of an abstract film, but incorporating a certain narrative impulse, this multidimensional work took its first inspiration from various archival recordings of steam locomotives. During the process, contemporary field recordings were also included, as well as a selection of found footage that further subjectivizes the themes developed in the soundtrack.
Together with video, this sound work is part of the series of video works that were presented from 2009–2015 as Pareidolia.
The work was further developed in 2022 as an installation work for the m3 Fesival in Prague.
